A long-standing demand from residents of the Northwest Sector and companies in the Real Estate Sector, the implementation of the works at Burle Marx Park was announced on the morning of this Thursday, July 29, by Governor Ibaneis Rocha, who signed the service order that began the first stage of implementation of Burle Marx Ecological Park, located in the Northwest Sector. “I have ordered a survey of the works that need to be done here in the Northwest. We are here to solve the city’s problems” Ibaneis Rocha, governor In this first phase, two will be built leisure islands, which will include courts for practicing various sports, community meeting points (PECs), outdoor gyms and playgrounds, as well as electrical and plumbing installations, guardhouses and landscaping with tree and grass planting. This first stage of the work is expected to be completed in December. “There is nothing better or more rewarding than fulfilling our commitments. We are launching a project of the utmost importance, and Brasília is a city on the move, which needs projects. I have determined that a survey be carried out of the projects that need to be done here in the Northwest. We are here to solve the city’s problems,” he said. For the director of the Northwest Residents Association, Amaury Kakumori, the park will bring a better quality of life to the community. “Those who live in the first phase of the neighborhood, like me, didn’t have any leisure areas, so the arrival of the park will be a different experience, it will provide conditions for those who want to enjoy the place and nature,” he reflects. The president of the Brasília Environmental Institute, Cláudio Trinchão, highlighted the ecological importance of implementing the park for the community and for the entire Federal District: “It is a historic achievement. It was a long-standing demand, a condition for implementing Noroeste; and, in partnership with Terracap, we were able to make it viable. It is yet another milestone in Governor Ibaneis Rocha’s administration.” Northwest Sector in Brasília: why live here
The high-end real estate market continues to boom in the Federal Capital. An example of this is the consolidation of Northwest Sector. The region was created with the aim of harmonizing the daily life of a large city with a more peaceful lifestyle, balanced with nature and aspects related to well-being. Located in a privileged region, more specifically between Asa Norte and Eixo Monumental, close to the city center, shopping malls, colleges, clinical and hospital centers, as well as restaurants and supermarkets, the Northwest Sector is part of the “Brasília Revisitada” project, developed between 1985 and 1987 by Lúcio Costa, and has been implemented since 2009. The difference in Noroeste begins with its very concept, as it was designed to be the first ecological neighborhood in Brazil, surrounded by green areas, such as Burle Marx Park and Brasília National Park. It extends over 821 hectares and is the last residential area of the so-called Plano Piloto.

On one hand, the tranquility that comes from nature; on the other, the comfort of being close to all urban amenities. Coopervias, cycle paths and the Burle Marx Ecological Park are some of its major features. In addition, the residential blocks are strategically arranged so that the buildings are close to nature and can take advantage of both natural lighting and ventilation. In addition to this contact with nature, which provides well-being and a healthier lifestyle, the neighborhood's location provides access to a range of services. There are hospitals, clinical centers, schools, universities, shopping malls, clubs, as well as a thriving local commerce. Speaking of which, mobility deserves to be highlighted. Noroeste has four entrance and exit routes to the neighborhood, as well as paths for cyclists and pedestrians, which makes it even more prominent among other neighborhoods in the city. The new developments built in the Northwest sector have an additional feature that makes them stand out: the concern linked to environmental issues in their constructions. Most of the buildings are designed to be more sustainable and economical. In other words, there is the use of technologies energy consumption alternatives, such as solar and photovoltaic energy, in addition to the concern with the urban organization of the place, which places the buildings not so close to each other, allowing greater use of daylight and also natural ventilation. EMPLAVI NOROESTE: Present in the neighborhood since 2009, the company leads the real estate offering in the neighborhood and announces new launches for the 2nd Semester of 2021 The Northwest has great potential for appreciation in relation to other prime areas of Brasília, both due to the superior standard of the developments built there and the infrastructure that is currently being implemented and will soon be complete, adding even more value to the square meter built there. Therefore, for those who value quality of life and well-being without giving up all the modern amenities and conveniences of the location, the Northwest sector in Brasília is one of the best options for living in the Federal Capital.
